American Legion Post 1 will be again be busy for the next month:
March 25
- Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall Poker Run; begins and ends
at Post 1; breakfast from 8-10; bbq will start between 12 and
1; $5.00; 1st bike out at 9; $15.00 for rider; $10.00 for
passenger; 4 wheelers more than welcome. Even if you don't
participate in the ride; come out and enjoy the companionship,
food, vendors and music. There will be a display of the
building of the Wall; lots of food, music, 50/50, raffle etc.
March 31
- children's Easter party - sign up sheet at the post
April 14th
- Fish Fry - if you were at the last one; do we have to say
more????? - from 1-4 $5.00 music to be announced
April 22 -29
Reunion week - Wall escort on 22nd from Cocoa to Wickham
April 28th
- Golf Tournament at Sherwood Golf Club - 4 person scramble;
$45.00 per person; $180 per team; includes green fee, cart and
prizes; luncheon to follow at Post ; 0pen to the public
